Selena Gomez wore a show-stopping look to attend best friend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s lavish wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden on Thursday evening. 

The 33-year-old actress adhered to the reported ‘cocktail attire’ dress code as she donned a lacy Oscar de la Renta gown with a slicked-back bun for the event.

She was seen posing in photos shared on Instagram by her stylist Erin Walsh ahead of the soirée. 

Fans claimed the Only Murders In The Building beauty resembled Audrey Hepburn, given that her look was both elegant and understated. 

She completed her outfit with Jimmy Choo heels and Fernando Jorge jewelry, with her earrings and diamond ring reportedly totaling $40,000.

For her makeup, Gomez highlighted her eyes with a sultry, smoky eye and topped it all off with a light wash of blush and rosy pink lips.

Thursday marked the first night of Swift and Kelce’s multi-day Madison Square Garden festivities. 

As she headed to the event, Gomez shared a sneak peek at her look on Instagram Stories while topping off her makeup in the car. 

Her husband Benny Blanco did not appear to be present for the festivity. 

Gomez – who is reported to be one of the bridesmaids for Swift’s celebrations – caused a stir as she used the post to promote a lipstick from her Rare Beauty brand. 

The clip showed her applying the lipstick in the back of a car. She then shared a close-up photo showcasing the lip product, a forthcoming release from her brand. 

The move drew some criticism from fans, given her best friend’s wedding festivities have been shrouded in secrecy, and using the event for promotion could risk Swift’s ire. 

Gomez’s video was especially notable seeing as sources previously claimed to the Daily Mail that guests, including family and close friends, were required to sign an NDA before receiving any information about the wedding celebrations.

Swift, 36, and Kelce, also 36, are holding a multi-day wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden, with the main event expected to take place there on Friday evening. 

On Friday, Swift – who famously attended Gomez’s wedding to music producer Benny Blanco last year – and Kelce are reportedly set to celebrate at Madison Square Garden with more than 1000 guests in attendance.
